Reminds me of an old girlfriend!

Sounds like you and I both not having much luck with our EVOs currently.

NR have practically rebuilt mine and have had for over 2 weeks already. I havent called them yet as I'm frieghtened to ask how much i'm in for so far!

Hope you get it sorted soon. At least unlike me your capable of fixing you probs so save on the labour costs

Couple updates, first off prior to my trip to spa I wanted to gain my boot space back so splashed out on a set of focal ps-165 component speakers.
Wow what a difference, proper nice clear sound and..... Base too so the boom box has now gone. And about time too cos its starting to make its own way out the boot lol

Next up, after discovering that yes, carbotec brake pads are awesome... Apparently I've out grown them so struck a deal yesterday on some bigger brakes.
356mm instead of 330mm and 8 pot calipers.
Just need some carbotec pads in them and car will be sorted :)

Before and after shot :)

Lee how does your rear window vent's fit??? Mine are way to tight and the rear window's wont close up on them!!:arms:

Mine are made up of 3 layers so the centre layer fits in the rubbers where glass would be. Then the glass slots up in the centre of it :)

Right then so after recent events I've got itchy feet and gone and got myself a newer car. So this puppy is being returned to a standard format with a replacement engine, turbo etc etc :)

Replacement engine is from a completely standard evo vii which I just bought. Everything is as Mitsi intended apart from a air filter :)
Car has covered 60k and is properly sweet as a nut, perfect :)

So with the engine out the vii a few bits needed changing to original evo 6 parts and of course a proper Tommi mak turbo fitted which was rebuilt, 7k miles ago :)
Was also ideal time to fit new cam and balance shaft belts etc :)

Then time to remove the engine from my mak
