Whilst having my car RR'd today there was a somewhat "sad" Evo parked in the car park!!!

At a glimpse it was a TME.. but on closer inspection it clearly wasn't!!!!

I really feel for the guy but he bought it as a TME but within 4 weeks of owning it had so many running problems.....

Obviously it never had the TME Interior, It had a version 5 bumper, it had been in a rear end "smack" and had many other probs...

It wouldn't start from cold, the rear wheels had a camber that only a golf gti would appreciate and the spark plugs were swimming in petrol.... Oh dear....

There are some real cowboys out there who abuse the fact that some real people want to own these cars...... They set up a phony dealership, take your money and run!!!!!

Please remeber this...

It happens, especially when you buy on a whim.

There are millions out there who have no knowledge when it comes to specialist/performance cars.

The trick is to research and research some more.

I do feel sorry for those it happens too but ultimately, they can not blame anyone else but themselves as they are going in blind and taking a gamble.
