Ok so we have a trailer in at the moment we are using as a fill in job. Symptoms are that when connected to van/car it blows the sidelight fuse.
I pulled apart the circuit and wired everything back in to the block connector properly as before some were overloaded and some were under loaded. This didn't cure anything, I have narrowed down nothing I cannot seem to locate a short.
Now I thought I had fixed it as I plugged it in and no fuses blow, all lights working perfect, as soon as I hitch it up to the towbar....POP goes the fuse it seems to be grounding out somehow.
Anyone come across this before? If so how do you get around it without re wiring the whole thing
